Foundational Layer of a Healthy Team

Do you want a healthy team? What a silly question. Who doesn’t want a healthy team? I am yet to meet someone that doesn’t have an interest in being a part of a healthy team, but there is a bigger question at hand. The question isn’t if you want one, but probably more importantly, can you define one?

There are often misconceptions of the make-up of a healthy team. A winning team is often described as a healthy team. Much like in sports and business, winning can cover up a lot of shortfalls. If the success of a team and the health of a team are interchangeable terms I would challenge the validity of the definitions. Healthy teams will be a great source for strength and perseverance in the good times and the tougher times.
